Such a harsh word both structurally with the hard “Qu” and because it is such a negative. I thought of the word as I missed my “Q” posting for the A to Z Challenge yesterday and wondered how many people participating in the challenge have quit. It is much harder than I thought it would be but I realize now just how important it is to write every day, or at least every day possible. And though I find myself technically a day behind, I am just trading days off this week instead.
Everyone has reasons for stopping what they are doing from time to time and the word “quit” is such a judgemental word and we need to remember that it is not our place to judge.
So quit that.
