Elephant Haiku

Elephant trunk long
Flailing about to and fro
Water coming soon

Don’t forget that April is National Poetry month.  I figured I would help celebrate with a little Haiku, in the traditional Japanese 5-7-5 structure.

Think of things that lift your mind and spirits and try to capture them in poetry this month.  And always.
